What a fantastic night .. :-)
Lessons were buzzing with fun and energy as usual.
I’m so lucky to have such great teachers working with me. Every week we have such a laugh. Tony has introduced a new move which I have given the name ‘drunken master’ lol you gotta see it to know why !
Shines lessons were looking great …. Who won the shine off this wk. ? I missed it :-( ladies or the men. ?

After the lesson the party started !!!
Palenke got the floor buzzing from. 10pm .. They played a fantastic set which included some of their tracks from their new album KACHACO.. The played a touch of Bachata, Reaggeton and Salsa !
I received a lot of comments and a lot of people said the band sounded great.
Like I said on the night .. The purpose of the live band nights are about supporting Latin Bands in London. If we don’t book them and buy their music how will we continue to get the music we love to dance to ?! They work so hard, for very little sometimes. It’s their passion for music that drives them on.
A lot of salsa dancers go out and dance night after night and have never experienced the music live , again this is what the monthly events are about. Introducing people to the music they love, LIVE ! You just can’t beat it. Watching the musicians can be infectious, I personally sometimes want to get up there and join in lol. Some people told me they had reservations about our band nights, as they thought it would sound cheap with poor sound quality. They were so shocked by the quality of the sound that every band has produced at the Langthorne. ‘It’s just as good as CD! ‘ they all say :-)

Bottles of bubbly were given to the Hottest man and lady in RED….Steve and birthday girl Karin. Thank you, you both looked great. Also a big thank you to everyone that wore red…it looked HOT on the dance floor.

My feet are killing me today which is always a good sign lol that I had a dance after dance after dance :-) & DJ Steevo kept the floor spinning til 1am ….
