Q7 – Can I come anytime / Do I have to book in advance?
Q1: Can I come anytime / Do I have to book in advance?
A1: You don’t have to book and you can turn up anytime. We run at least 3 levels at all of the venues from absolute beginner to advanced on a drop-in basis to give students as much flexibility as possible whilst retaining a high level of tuition.

Q2: What do I have to wear?
A2: Wear comfortable clothing which you’d be happy moving about in. Shoes are the most important consideration; flat soled shoes with a leather or smooth sole are best. Rubber soled footwear, such as running shoes, trainers or heavy soled boots are not recommended. For safety reasons, jewellery is also a consideration; watches, large rings and earrings (for either sex) should be avoided, removed or ‘made safe’ whilst taking class or dancing.

Q3: Do you run classes for beginners?
A3: Yes, we do classes for absolute beginners at all the venues. We understand how daunting it can be to do your first salsa, or even dance, class, so we try to make it as fun and unintimiatating as possibly. All our teachers are chosen not only for their experience and technical teaching skills but also for their supportive, generous and patient personalities.

Q4: I don’t have a partner, is it OK to come alone?
A4: You can either come alone, with a friend or a partner, all are welcome. Half the fun of dancing salsa is meeting people, and salsa people are generally really lovely. If you get hooked, you’ll make a LOT of new friends.

Q5: I have two left feet / can’t dance for toffee, will I be OK?
A5: Yes, salsa is very, very easy. If you can walk, you can dance salsa which is one of the reasons why it’s the most popular partner dance forms in the world. It normally takes 3 or 4 lessons to get the initial basics, and then you can take it as far as your want.

Q6: Are all the clubs/classes still running?
A6: Yes, all our advertised classes on the site are current and accurate. There are rare occasions when we may alter a venue for one night at short notice, but every effort is made to communicate this to students and dancers via email and through the website.

Q7: Can I come anytime / Do I have to book in advance?
A7: You don’t have to book and you can turn up anytime. We run at least 3 levels at all of the venues from absolute beginner to advance on a drop-in basis to give students as much flexibility as possible whilst retaining a high level of tuition.
