A taste of the Dominican ;-)

Hi all

Thank you everyone that attended our regular salsa classes last night. All our lessons are growing every week. I’ve said it before and I will say it again – if your thinking about learning how to dance Salsa or want to learn some fancy turn-patterns that join LGS for lessons every week from 7.45pm. I am lucky to have such a team of professional, passionate and crazy Teachers you are guaranteed to learn and laugh every week.

We had the pleasure of having Jason Cannings as DJ so therefore I had to take full advantage of him and asked if he wouldn’t mind taking a Dominican Bachata warm-up with myself 😉 of course he couldn’t refuse …lol. Jason and I used the basic steps of Dominican Bachata and hopefully we introduced something new to some of you out there.

Dominican Bachata is a passion of mine and I would love to introduce it more to the Langthorne crowd…..please let me have your opinions and thoughts on having more Bachata at the Langthorne.

Myself and Jason will be doing more lessons at the Langthorne in the near future so please watch this space.

As well as Jason giving you a lovely intro warm-up with Dominican Bachata he also gave you all a wicked set ! A lovely selection of Latin genres 😉 He played that James Brown track and once again you all showed your appreciation by giving him an applause !

Thank you Jason x

Some of you may know already that Lets Go Salsa! has been nominated for the LUKAS AWARDS 2012! We have been nominated for the following categories:

Just being nominated is exciting and rewarding but to WIN would be such an achievement and obviously recognition for all of our hard work to bring something new to East London for Salsa Dancers and Live Music.  So therefore we need your VOTES;
